Virginia Bradford Williams

Virginia Bradford Williams, 92, of Sycamore passed away Friday, August 14, 2026 at The Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia in TIfton.

Virginia was born on July 17, 1934 in Fitzgerald to the late Leon and Vera Bradford. She was a Peanut Inspector having worked at Golden Peanut for over 45 years. She was also a Primitive Baptist by faith. Virginia was a hard worker. She was known to be a simple person and one of the sweetest people you could ever meet. She could always find the good in someone no matter their circumstances. She also loved animals, especially cats and would feed every cat that came to visit her.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Hazel of Gray.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Grant Williams; grandchildren, Kyle Hazel and Kara Hazel; son-in-law, Mike Hazel. She is also preceded in death by three siblings.

Virginia’s wishes were that no services be held. She will be laid to rest at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Sycamore next to her husband.
