Vickie Ann Henderson

Vickie Ann Newsome Henderson, 65, of Ashburn passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at her residence.

Vickie was born in Ashburn on January 11, 1961 to the late Raymond C. and Opal Kennedy Newsome. She worked in retail and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Tifton. Vickie was an avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and never missed an opportunity to cheer on her favorite team. Vickie also loved softball and basketball. She loved collecting antiques and displaying them in her home. Most of all, Vickie loved her family. To know her was to love her and she will be deeply missed.

Vickie is survived by her husband of 38 years, Kenneth Henderson of Ashburn; daughters, Tiffany (Jasper) Johnson of Ashburn and Jennifer Black of Ashburn; son, William (Brooke) Henderson of Cordele; brother, Carlton Newsome; grandchildren, Austin Lee Hill, Leland Ray Hill, Jalaysia Office and Marcus Office. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Calvary Baptist Church in Tifton.
