Trellis Evelyn Hale Beard

Trellis Evelyn Hale Beard, 91, of Sycamore passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at Pruitt Healthcare in Sylvester.

Trellis was born on April 26, 1934 in Ball Ground, Georgia to the late Jesse Martin and Arizona Long Hale. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and was a cashier at the Morrison Grocery Store for many years. Trellis enjoyed word doing word search puzzles. She also loved to grow flowers and vegetables with her husband. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Lynn Beard (Ronnie) Fowler of Chula; grandchildren, Stephanie Griner and Chad Anthony Fowler. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Hiram Beard; siblings, Aileene Hale Mason, D. D. Hale and Doyle Hale.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, July 18, 2025 at Perry Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Bethel Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.
