Toshi "Betty" Herrin

Toshi “Betty” Herrin, 89, of Ashburn, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Pine Shadows Personal Care in Sylvester, GA.  

Betty was born on December 10, 1933 in Japan. She lived in Ashburn with her late husband and children for 52 years. She loved to cook Japanese cuisine for her family and friends. She dearly loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She retired from M&W Sportswear. Betty was a member of Morningside Baptist Church. 

She is survived by her son, Monroe (Debbie) Herrin of Tifton, and her daughter, Joann Herrin (Ray) Adam of Ashburn. Betty is also survived by her grandchildren: Diana (Ryan) Wilkerson of Chula, Jeremy (Jennifer) Herrin of Tifton, Doug (Crystal) Jackson, Greg (Payton) Vaughn, Chris Vaughn, Toshi (Chris) Wallace, and David Adam. She also is survived by her great-grandchildren: Ryleigh, Harlee, and Kollins Wilkerson; Hadalynn Herrin;  Landon, Liam, and Laiten Iverson; Chris Hutchins; Michael, Emily, Douglas, Hannah, Tyler, and Anthony Jackson; Reed, Ryder, and Ross Vaughn; Alex and Christopher Vaughn; Ayumi Wallace, Caidenece, Liliahna, and Grace Meier; Cody and MaryAnne Adam, as well as a great-great grandchild, La’Meria Vaughn. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Douglas Herrin. 

Funeral services will be held at Perry Funeral Chapel on Monday, June 12, 2023 at 2:00 PM. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service at Perry Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
