Tina Marie Futch

Tina Marie Futch, 67, passed away on Monday, July 31, 2023 at her residence in Sycamore, Georgia. She was born on November 2, 1955 to Edison W. and Jimmie Lou Ward Waller. 

Tina was a clerk for the City of Ashburn for many years. She enjoyed arts and crafts and sewing. She also enjoyed serving on the Fire Ant Festival committee and dressing up in “Flame” the Fire Ant mascot costume. She was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church. 

She is survived by her sons, Jason (Michele) Harris of Ashburn and Jamie (Jessica) Harris of Sycamore. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Cameron Harris, Carley Harris, Riley Harris, Jason (Aniya) Harris, and Joanique Harris, Kimberly (Dillon) Ward, Justin (Haley) Nixon, Kaycee Nixon, Gavin Wiggins, Gavin Spikes, as well as her great-grandchildren, Malakai Green, Weston Shiver, Aaman Harris, Emmie Lou Ward, Lilleigh Kate and Charley Nixon.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Remer Futch.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Lakeview Cemetery in Sycamore, GA at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you choose a charity of your choice to make donations in Tina’s memory.
