Shirley Ann Freeman Wise

Shirley Ann Freeman Wise, 82, of Ashburn passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025 at her residence.

Shirley was born on January 7, 1943 in Rebecca to the late Shirley Andrew and Eunie Mae Harvey Freeman. She was a member of Double Run Baptist Church and a retired waitress. Shirley loved crafting, especially painting. She also loved to visit the beach. Above all, she loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen (Ricky, deceased) Wise Folds of Ashburn; son, James (Denise) Wise of Ashburn; brother, Royce Freeman of Cordele; grandchildren, Brian Wiggins, Matt Wiggins, Kayla Wise Yawn, Angie Wise, Amanda Wise and Jonathan Wise. She is also survived by a host of great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Lamar Wise; brother, Ray Freeman.

Graveside funeral services will be held Sunday, November 9, 2025 at 2:00 PM in Snow Ridge Cemetery. The family will greet friends Sunday, November 9, 2025 at Perry Funeral Chapel from 12:30 PM until time to depart for the cemetery.
