Sarah Marie Smith

Sarah Marie Smith, born on May 4, 1976, in Tifton, departed this world on January 7, 2026, in Sycamore. She was a cherished daughter, friend, and a source of joy to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Sarah's warmth and kindness were evident to everyone she encountered. She had a remarkable ability to connect with people, never meeting a stranger. Her genuine spirit and welcoming nature made every gathering brighter and more enjoyable. Sarah had an infectious enthusiasm for life, often spreading happiness through her favorite tradition of singing "Happy Birthday" to anyone celebrating their special day. This simple act epitomized her love for others and her belief in celebrating life's moments, big or small. A devout follower of Jesus, Sarah's faith was at the core of her existence.

She is survived by her parents, Beth and Bob Blanton of Sycamore and a host of other extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Perry Funeral Chapel. The family will greet friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Perry Funeral Chapel.
