Sandra Dorothy Wadsworth Muse

Sandra Dorothy Wadsworth Muse, 76, of Ashburn passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023 at Pruitt Healthcare in Ashburn. 

Sandra was born on January 3, 1947 in Savannah to the late Robert and Dorothy Clanton Wadsworth. She was of Baptist faith and was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. She had a huge heart and enjoyed spending time with people. She was very fond of time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sandra enjoyed working outdoors and traveling. As a Navy wife, she traveled the world with her husband being able to enjoy and experience living in Italy, Spain, and Scotland. Sandra spent her free time crafting and crocheting. She was also an avid reader.

She is survived by her sons, Kevin (Trisha) Muse of Rochelle and Darin Muse of Ashburn; brother, Bobby (Joyce) Wadsworth of Springfield; sisters, Lynne W. (John) Merritt of Sycamore, Teresa W. (Wendell) Lupo of Sycamore, Donna W. (Randy) Holley of Sycamore, and Pam W. (Johnny) Whiddon of Morven; grandchildren, Chase (Sam), Baylee, Graham; Grant (Ashley), Katie (Justin), Triston; and Kiley (James); 11 great-grandchildren; and  numerous nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Gene Muse, brother, Benjamin Perry Wadsworth; and sister, Patsy W. Ennis. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Harmony Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends from 10:00 AM until the hour of services on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Harmony Baptist Church.
