Marvin Dale Bell

Marvin Dale Bell, 77, of Sylvester passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023 at his residence.

Marvin was born in Woodward, Oklahoma on February 9, 1946 to the late Herman Eugene Bell and Wanda Vay Farrell Bell. He was a truck driver and worked for Raven Transport. He was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church in Sylvester and served his country with honor in the United States Air Force. Marvin enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed working with leather and visiting his mother in Oklahoma.

Marvin is survived by his daughter, Tammy (Stacy) Alligood of Sylvester; sons, Cliff (Tiffany) Bell of Sylvester and Wayne (Tracy) Bell of Peachtree City; mother, Wanda Vay Farrell Bell of Gage, Oklahoma; sister, Nancy Morley of Gage, Oklahoma;  brother, Geordie (Cindy) Bell of Bristow, Oklahoma; grandchildren, (Morgan (Chris Conger), Summer (Tate), Kamryn, Caidyn, Kyleah, Blake, Ashtian, Dakota, Ryan, Alex, Lexi, Justin, Kayley and Jordan; daughter-in-law, Katie Bell of Sylvester. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Pendley Bell; sister, Sue Appleton.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at First Freewill Baptist Church in Sylvester with interment to follow in Poulan Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at First Freewill Baptist Church.
