Martha June Godwin Myers

Martha June Godwin Myers, 74, of Sycamore passed away Sunday, April 26, 2026 at Southwell Health and Rehabilitation in Adel.

June was born on March 14, 1952 in Tifton to the late Roy W. and Peggy Rutland Godwin. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and a homemaker. June was faithful to her family and made sure they were always taken care of. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, watching movies and soap operas. She loved animals and was very fond of her cat, Toby, whom, according to her family, she loved as much, if not more than her husband, Ronnie.

She is survived by her sons, Ryan Lee (Kayla) Myers of Ashburn and Rayford Roy Myers of Waycross; brother, Randy Godwin of Lenox.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Lee Myers; brother, Michael Godwin.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 28, 2026 in Bethel Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at Perry Funeral Chapel.
