Lula Bell Byrd

Lula Bell Byrd, 85, of Sylvester passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026 at Pruitt Healthcare in Sylvester.

Lula was born on September 7, 1940 in Sylvester to the late Henry and Mary Bell Newell Byrd. She was a retired factory worker having worked at Seabrook Blanching. Lula loved dancing in her younger years. She also loved flowers and working in her yard. Lula loved cooking until her health declined. Above all else, she loved her nieces.

She is survived by her nieces, Linda Deal of Sylvester and Mary Jane Ramsey of Panama City, Florida.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar Bowron; brother, Henry Byrd.

Ms. Byrd will be laid to rest beside her parents in Providence Cemetery in Worth County. No services will be held.
