Lisa K. Sides

Lisa Kay Sides was born September 19, 1961. Charles Eugene Sides Jr and Cora Ruth Tuck Sides adopted her. Lisa was the apple of their eye. Although she was born with developmental issues, she thrived growing up with the love and caring her parents provided. Even though she could not always communicate clearly, she learned to read. When visiting her Grandma Evie Tuck in Coverdale, she would get the newspaper and look at the TV guide. Then, she would go to the TV and choose the right channel to watch her favorite shows. One was “As the World Turns”. She loved to look at Ethan Allen Catalogs and read scientific books.

Later on as Ruth’s health declined, Lisa went to a group home for disabled people. There she participated in a job where they put together items for sale. Charles would go visit several times a week and take her out to get a hot dog or hamburger. Sometimeshe would bring his grill to cook hot dogs or hamburgers for the entire group home.

Lisa passed on to her Heavenly Father August 24, 2026, while under the care of PruittHealth of Aiken and Pruitt Hospice. She was preceded in death by: her parents Charles E. Sides Jr and Cora Ruth Tuck Sides; paternal grandparents Charles E Sides Sr and Eunice Sides; maternal grandparents Clarence A and Evie B Tuck. She is survived by two Aunts: Karen and Linda; Cousins Mike and Doug Sides and Alan Tuck. She will be interred at Arabi Cemetery.
