Lance Blane Landis

Lance Blane Landis, 62, of Ashburn, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at his residence in Ashburn, GA. 

Lance was born on February 8, 1961 to the late Robert David and Claire Soulant Landis. He was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan and also enjoyed watching wrestling on TV. Lance collected movies and was especially fond of comedies. He was a devoted volunteer at the Shepherd’s Pantry Food Bank on Thursdays and was willing to share his time and energy wherever needed.

He is survived by his brother, Eric (Phyllis) Landis of Ashburn; sisters, Diane (Allen) Saylor of Sycamore, Marilyn Williams of Jesup, Rosalind Gardner of Pineview, and Patricia (Randall) Boggs of Jacksonville, FL. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, Lance was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Landis.

The family will greet friends Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at Perry Funeral Chapel. A private, family only graveside service will be held immediately following the visitation.
