Joseph Neal "Josh" Lumpkin

Joseph Neal “Josh” Lumpkin, 58, of Warm Springs passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.

Josh was born on January 2, 1968 in Americus to William Neal and Barbara Jean Pheil Lumpkin. He was the Cattle Ranch Manager for Rolling B. Ranch in Warm Springs where he fulfilled his lifelong dream. He was also a member of Inaha Baptist Church. Josh enjoyed team roping and visiting Texas. He was a true outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed visiting the beach and boating on the lake. Of all the titles he held in life, none meant more to him than being “Pop” to his beloved grandchildren. They were his pride and joy, and there was no greater happiness than watching them play ball, cheering them on, and making memories together. Being their Pop was one of his greatest blessings, and the love he had for them will live on in their hearts forever.

He is survived by his wife, Paulette Lumpkin of Warm Springs; father and mother, William Neal and Barbara Jean Pheil Lumpkin of Sycamore; children, Heather (Mark) Padgett of McRae, Zoe Lumpkin (Sage) of Ellaville, Zeb (Molly) Lumpkin of West, Texas and Calli (Tim) Ledford of Monticello; siblings, Julie (David) White of Cordele and Eddie Culpepper of Sycamore; grandchildren, Collins Lumpkin, Jhett Lumpkin, Krew Keene, Nealy Ledford, Wren Lumpkin, Haven Padgett, Briggs Ledford and Mason Padgett.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 7, 2026 in Inaha Cemetery. The family will greet friends immediately following the service in the cemetery.
