JoAnn Reba Story Oliver

JoAnn Reba Story Oliver, 88, of Sycamore, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2025 at her residence.

JoAnn was born on February 24, 1937 in Turner County to the late Warren Leon and Bessie Ann Haynie Story. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith. JoAnn loved her flower garden and was known to have a green thumb and could make anything grown. She also loved to fish. JoAnn could do anything she put her mind to. She could decorate cakes and enjoyed being crafty. She was also a member of a bowling league in her younger years.

JoAnn is survived by her daughter, Joan (Billy) Dalrymple of Sycamore; son, Robert Allen Oliver of Irwinville; sister, Dorothy Jean Coker of Sycamore; brother, James Roy Story of Sycamore; grandchildren, Andy (Melinda) Oliver, Brad (Ashley) Oliver, Sarah Oliver, Johnny (Tammy) Pate, Josh (Joy) Pate and Amy Pierce. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Eugene Oliver; sister, Mary Alice McGuire; brothers, Johnny Story, Dan Story and W. L. Story.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
