Evelyn Latrelle Wynn

Evelyn Latrelle Wynn, 93, of Ocilla, GA passed away Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Irwin County Hospital.

Evelyn was born on November 12, 1931 in Turner County to Wilson and Mae Braddy. Evelyn was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Sycamore for seventy years. There she graciously served as a Sunday school teacher for fifty years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Evelyn enjoyed being a homemaker and also worked at M & W Sportswear in Ashburn for twenty years.

Evelyn is survived by her son Jerry (Deborah) Wynn and her daughter, Laquita Whittle, and her brother-in-law, Carl Ray. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Amanda (Clay) Mixon, Bruce Wynn, Tracey Wynn, Stacey Wynn, Melissa (Daniel) Murray, Taylor (Patrick) Tressler, John (Hailie) Wynn as well as her great-grandchildren; Thea Murray, Payton Murray, and Shelby Tressler and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Johnn Bruce Wynn, her son, Geary Bruce Wynn, and her sisters, Brenda Ray and Lois Myers.

A memorial service will be held at Perry Funeral Chapel at a later date. Details will be updated at that time.
