Elbert Lewis Lolley, Jr., 73, of Ashburn passed away Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Tift Regional Medical Center.
Elbert was born on July 30, 1951 in Apalachicola, Florida to the late Elbert Lewis, Sr. and Vonnie Lucille Kent Lolley. He was retired having worked in the steel industry. He also served his country with honor in the United States Army. Elbert is remembered for being a great babysitter to many over the years. He also loved NASCAR. He also loved eating hotdogs. He was a member of the Turner County High School class of 1971. Elbert was a member of the Turner County Young Farmers and served as the chapter’s president for two years.
He is survived by his sister, Rebecca Lucille Lolley Goff of Ashburn; brother, Thomas Jefferson Lolley of Rossville; sister-in-law, Mayleah Lolley of Rossville. He is also survived by his nephews and nieces, Mack Stewart, Melissa Lisenby, Lee Lolley, David Lolley, Jeff Tuttle, Amanda Tuttle Taylor, Joe Lolley, Zack Lolley, Jessica Lolley and Chris Lolley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Lewis Stanley Lolley and Alexander Robertson Lolley.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at Perry Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, June 16, 2025 at Perry Funeral Chapel.
