Edison Walstein Waller

Edison Walstein Waller, 88, of Sycamore passed away Friday, October 7, 2022, at his residence.

 

Walstein was born on September 15, 1934, in Turner County to the late Cleo and Thelma Huff Waller. He was a minister for many years, having served in numerous churches in Alabama and Georgia. He retired from the ministry after serving for 68 years. Walstein spent much of his free time reading articles and books pertaining to the Bible. He was a member of New Bethel Freewill Baptist Church in Worth County for many years. 

 

He is survived by his daughter, Tina Waller Futch of Sycamore; grandchildren, Jason (Michele) Harris and Jamie (Jessica) Harris; 10 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.

 

In addition to his parents, Walstein was preceded in death by his wife, Jimmy Lou Ward Waller, and his brother, Wendell Waller. 

 

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Lakeview Cemetery in Sycamore.
