Donna Jane Murray

Donna Jane Murray, 77, of Ashburn passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Pruitt Healthcare in Sylvester.

Donna was born on August 4, 1947 in Pavo to the late R. J. and Jane Darby Murray. She was of the Baptist Faith and always active in her church. She was a successful business owner as well as being the original developer at Sparrow’s Landing. She enjoyed renovating homes and made that a business in the 90’s. She quietly assisted many families and children with food, school clothing and other needs and always assisted in other ways to see that they had what they needed.

She is survived by a number of nieces, nephews, children of her heart and loving friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, William (Bobby) Murray and Henry Allen Murray.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Perry Funeral Chapel. A private interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. There will be a gathering of friends one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
