Danial Harrison Story, Jr.

Danial Harrison Story, Jr., 61, of Ashburn passed away Friday, April 25, 2025.

Danny was born on December 18, 1963 in Tifton to the late Danial Harrison, Sr. and Linda Dale Brooke Story. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and a member of Inaha Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and in his younger years, he enjoyed hunting. Danny was a talented musician and guitar player having been in numerous bands throughout his life.

He is survived by his daughter, Olivia (Matthew) Odom of Macon; son, Brandon (Rebecca) Story of Cordele; sister, Lorie Ann (Ron) Orr of Sycamore; grandchildren, Ethan and Abram; uncles, James Roy Story, Sr. and Robert Brooke; aunts, Jo Anne Oliver and Dot Story Coker. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Bethel Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Bethel Baptist Church.
