Cheryl Bledsoe Goff

Cheryl Bledsoe Goff, 74, of Rebecca passed away Friday, December 12, 2025 at the Willson Hospice house in Albany.

Cheryl was born on October 28, 1951 in Tift County to the late Harvey and Helen Wright Bledsoe. She was a faith member of Harmony Baptist Church where she served as the church pianist and helped with Vacation Bible School for many years. She also enjoyed playing the piano and singing at nursing homes. Cheryl enjoyed canning vegetables as well. Above all else, Cheryl loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, Linsey (Brian) Shockley of Covington and Shannon (Thomas) Horton of Tifton; son, A. J. (Wendy) Johnson of Huntsville, Alabama; sister, Elaine Cooper of Tifton; brothers, Larry (Recee) Bledsoe of Cartersville and Dale (Diane) Bledsoe of Arp; grandchildren, Cody Johnson, Christopher Horton, Cassie Horton and Woodfin Shockley. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles David Goff; sister-in-law, Mahala Bledsoe; brother-in-law, Larry Joe Cooper; father of her children, Jackie Johnson.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Harmony Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Harmony Baptist Church.
