Carolyn Sabrina McLeod

Carolyn Sabrina McLeod, 66, of Ashburn passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025 at her residence.

Carolyn was born in Lake City, Florida on March 5, 1959 to the late Maurice William and Frances Elizabeth Bonnell McLeod. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church. Carolyn loved her family, but especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing and quilting. She also loved to bake as well as help others whenever and however the opportunities arose.

She is survived by her daughter, Tara (Lee) Cleghorn of Sycamore; son, Jeffery McLeod of Jesup; sisters, Myra (Don) Weir of Carrabelle, Florida, Cynthia Purcell of Chula and Diane McLeod of Ashburn; brother, Freddy (Barbara) McLeod of Cordele; grandchildren, Parker Cleghorn and Peyton Cleghorn; aunt, Elsi McLeod (James) Swafford.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Andre McLeod.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Perry Funeral Chapel. The family will greet friends on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 from 1:00 Pm until 2:00 PM at Perry Funeral Chapel. Interment will be private.

The family requests that everyone in attendance wear bright colors as they celebrate Mrs. Carolyn’s life.
