Bonnie Lee Reinhardt, 72, of Ashburn passed away Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Langdale Hospice House in Valdosta, Georgia.
Born April 16, 1953 in Ashburn, GA to the late Watson and Mildred Reinhardt, Bonnie lived with a generous heart and a servant’s spirit. She loved others well, reflecting the kindness and compassion she believed in so strongly. She was truly one of a kind—known for her light hearted spirit that could make anyone smile. She had a way of bringing laughter into everyday moments, never taking life too seriously and always encouraging others to do the same. Her joy was contagious and deeply rooted in her faith.
She loved to travel and explore, but her greatest joy was always her family and friends, often found gathered around a table playing cards with friends, planning her next trip to the ocean, or lending a helping hand to someone in need.
She will be remembered for her kindness, her laughter, and her wonderfully unique personality that made the world a brighter place. She touched so many lives simply by being herself and by sharing her faith through her actions.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Watson Reinhardt and Mildred (Elrod) Reinhardt; her sisters, Peggy (Reinhardt) Harris and Martha Sue Reinhardt; and her brother, Augustus Eli Reinhardt II.
She leaves behind her niece, Emily LaMontagne, and nephew, Augustus Eli Reinhardt III. The great joys of her life were her great-niece and great-nephews—Kendall LaMontagne, Brooker LaMontagne, Eli Reinhardt, and Noah Reinhardt—who brought her endless pride and happiness. She is also fondly remembered by many cousins and extended family members and friends who will cherish the memories they shared with her.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Perry Funeral Chapel. The family will greet friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Perry Funeral Chapel.
Donations can be made to Hospice of South Geogia and Langdale Hospice House in lieu of flowers.
