Betty Jo Bridges Goff

Betty Jo Bridges Goff, 90, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024 at her son’s home in Hernando, Mississippi.

Betty Jo was born in Sumner on May 16, 1934 to the late Joseph Daniel and Johnnie White Bridges. She was a retired banker and a member of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Betty Jo enjoyed traveling, especially to the mountains. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed keeping up with family and friends on Facebook.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (William) Luke of Jefferson; sons, Randy Charles Goff of Buford and Jeffry James (Jennifer) Goff of Hernando, Mississippi. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, James C. Goff and Charles Harrell Ireland; and brother, Danny Ray Bridges.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Perry Funeral Chapel. Interment will be private. The family will greet friends immediately following the service.
