Bobby Holland

Funeral services for Bobby Holland, 82, of Ashburn, Ga. will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. at the Ashburn First Baptist Church with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn, Ga. Mr. Holland died Sunday at Tift Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.

Mr. Holland was born in Turner County, Georgia, the son of the late John Clarence & Annie Lou Lester Holland. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Ashburn First Baptist Church and was a faithful member of the Gilbert Branch Sunday School Class.

Mr. Holland is survived by his wife, Katie Ruth Kerce Holland, of Ashburn, Ga.; two sons and daughters in law, Ray & Marion Holland, of Sycamore, Ga. and John & Eva Lynn Holland of Ashburn, Ga. Also surviving is one granddaughter, Elizabeth Holland of Sycamore, Ga.

The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
