Funeral Services for Jo Ann Metcalf, age 60, of Sycamore will be held Monday at the Bethel Baptist Church at 3:00 P. M. with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Jo Ann died Saturday, January 22, 2011, at her residence after a sudden illness.
Jo Ann was born in Ocilla, Ga. the daughter of the late Luther Thomas Metcalf who died September 14, 2010 and Jimmie Ruth Scoggins Metcalf. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church and was Sunday School Secretary for a long number of years. She was a homemaker and wonderful care giver to her mother and father.
Survivors include her mother Jimmie Ruth Scoggins Metcalf, Sycamore and a large number of aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Visitation will be on Monday from 2:00 P. M. until time of services at the Bethel Baptist Church.
