Elouise Spradlin Brown

Funeral services for Elouise Spradlin Brown, 79, of Ashburn, will be held Monday, December 20, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn. Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Mrs. Brown passed away Friday at her residence following an extended illness.

The daughter of the late James Grady and Evie Leola Hester Spradlin, she was born in Ocilla, GA and was a homemaker. A member of The Rebecca Baptist Church, she enjoyed fishing, word search, the outdoors and her children. She was the widow of Arvil Hubert Brown and was also preceded in death by a son, Johnny Brown.

Survivors include her children, Doris B. (Glenn) Ellerbee, Elaine Brown and Mack (Melba) Brown all of Ashburn. Her brothers and sisters, H. G. Spradlin, Eldorado, GA, H. L. Spradlin, Zelma Conger and Fannie Belle Rowe all of Tifton, GA; twelve grandchildren, a large number of great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

The family will receive friends Monday morning from 10:00 AM until hour of services at Perry Funeral Chapel.
