Funeral services for Mildred Wilson Kilcrease, 91, of Ashburn will be held Sunday, March 15, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the Ashburn First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Mrs. Kilcrease died Thursday at Tift Regional Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Kilcrease was born in Turner County and was the daughter of the late William E. & Gladys Daniel Wilson. Mrs. Kilcrease was the widow of Eddie Benjamin Kilcrease. She was a retired beautician and a member of the Ashburn First Baptist Church. She loved cooking, watching hummingbirds, and fellowshipping with her family and friends.
Mrs. Kilcrease is survived by a son and daughter in law, Jerry & Ruth Dryden, Katy, Texas and a daughter and son in law, Janice & Charles Adair, Ashburn, Ga., and one brother James Wilson, Montgomery, Alabama. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Karen & Donald Edmundson, Katy, Texas; Thomas & Marlene Dryden, Doylestown, Penn.; Allen & Kathy Adair, Ashburn, Ga.; Richard & Lori Adair, Kathleen, Ga. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Christopher Edmundson, Jessica Edmundson, Andrew Edmundson, Katelyn Fisher, Tyler Dryden, Benji & Ashley Adair, Rebecca Adair and one great great grandchild, Tinsley Ann Adair.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
