Edna Bryan

Funeral services for Edna Newberne Bryan, 89, of Ashburn, GA. will be at 3:00 PM, Friday, December 15, 2006 in the Ashburn First Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Dakota Cemetery in Turner Co. Mrs. Bryan passed away Wednesday at her residence following a sudden illness.

The daughter of the late Allison Emory and Anna Eubanks Newberne she was born in Turner Co. and was a retired bookkeeper. A member of the Ashburn First Baptist Church and she was a member of the Samaritan Sunday school Class. She was also a member of the Joyful Messengers and the Keen Age Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Bartow Bryan.

Survivors include a sister, Lexia N. White of Ashburn, a niece and a nephew.

The family will receive friends Thursday from six until seven-thirty at Perry Funeral Chapel.
