Gertrude C. Shealy

Funeral Services for Gertrude C. Shealy, age 102, of Milner, Ga. will be held at 2:00 P. M. Tuesday at Perry Funeral Chapel, Ashburn, Ga. with burial to follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Shealy died Saturday, June 3, 2006, after a long illness.

Mrs. Shealy was a native of Sunset, Colquitt County, Georgia the daughter of the late William Jefferson and Annie Belle Parkerson Cribb. She was a member of the Ashburn First United Methodist Church, The Philathea Sunday School Class and The Women’s Missionary Circle. She had been a resident of Ashburn since 1929 moving to Milner in 1994 and was the widow of the late Roscoe L. Shealy.

She is survived by her children Frances Ellerbee, Milner, Georgia; Faye Tison, Ashburn, Georgia and Georgia Stephens, Albany, Georgia, nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and eleven great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday evening at the funeral home from six until eight .
