Effie Mae Wynn

Funeral Services for Mrs. Effie Mae Nelson Wynn, 81, of Sycamore, Ga. will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at the Bethel Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Wynn passed away Monday following an extended illness.

The daughter of the late Walter Chester and Eunie Frances Mauldin Nelson, she was born in Turner Co. where she spent her entire life. The widow of Venton Charles Wynn, Sr., she was a homemaker and member of the Bethel Baptist Church and the Lydia Sunday School Class.

Survivors include her children, Venton “Bugg” Wynn, Jr. and wife Margene, Wayne Wynn and wife Karen, Jeanene W. Rainey and husband Ronnie, Jayne W. Pylant and husband Curt all of Sycamore, Ga. Her sister Faye Gilley, Sycamore, Ga.; her brothers Stantley Nelson, Sycamore, Ga., Durel Nelson, McDonough, Ga., Quinton Nelson, Denison, Tx.; eleven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from six until eight at Perry Funeral Chapel.
