Michael Anthony “Poon” Lamb, 68, of Ashburn, GA passed away Monday, March 21, 2022 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Tallahassee, FL.
Mike was born on December 18, 1953 in Turner County to the late John W. and Irene Williams Lamb. He was an electrician by trade and of the baptist faith. Mike enjoyed blues music and fishing. He was a history buff and really enjoyed reading Stephen King novels. His most treasured memories involved spending time with his grandson Blake, AKA Catfish.
He is survived by his wife, Kelly Nipper Lamb of Ashburn; daughter, Kelly Savannah Lamb of Ashburn; brother, Jerry (Virginia) Lamb of Cordele; sister, Vickie Carter of Bainbridge; grandson, Blake Higginbotham; 4 nephews, and numerous cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Monday, March 28, 2022 at Perry Funeral Chapel. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John W. Lamb, Jr.
