The family of Margie Marie Cromer will receive friends, Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 2:00 – 3:00 PM at Perry Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will be private at a later date. Mrs. Cromer passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2022 after a brief illness.
The daughter of Curtis Sumner and Mary Belle Willingham Sumner, she was born in Turner County, Georgia. Mrs. Cromer was retired from the School Food Service from Tift County and Turner County. Mrs. Cromer was a member of First Baptist Church of Ashburn and faithfully served in various areas in the church and went on several mission trips. Mrs. Cromer also received the Golden Deed Exchange Club Award.
Survivors include her daughters Kathy C. (Ray) Jordan, Donna C. (Marvin) Wynn and Jill C. (Jeff) Carter. Mrs. Cromer is also survived by eight grandsons, their wives and fifteen great-grandchildren. Mrs. Cromer was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Cromer.
