Martha Jackson Warren "Marti", 73, of Sycamore passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022 at her residence.
Marti was born on November 7, 1948 in Spartanburg, South Carolina to the late Luther Holcomb, Sr. and Rachel Loftis Jackson. She was a license examiner with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. Marti loved to make jewelry and crocheting. She was a Mawmaw to everyone she met and made sure to tell people she loved, they had been "adopted" into her family. She loved spending time with her family, but especially her grandkids. She also worked at the Crime and Punishment Museum in Ashburn for many years. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Jimmie (Jennifer "J. P." Pickett) of Fitzgerald, Thomas (Alicia) Warren of Fitzgerald and Timothy (Dawn) Warren of Sycamore; brother, Luther Holcomb "Jack" Jackson, Jr. of Atlanta; grandchildren, Matthew Warren, MaryRachel (Jonathan) Brady, Ashley (Dacoda) Phillips, Christine (Darrell) Brown, Martha Grace (Nathan Brady) Warren, Andy Hanson, Eli Robinson and Aubrie Wade; great-grandchildren, Hope Phillips and Levi Brady.
She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-love, Suzanne Warren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Bethel Baptist Church. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
