Thomas (Tommy) Charles Pirkle, 74, of Sycamore was born in Turner County on August 30, 1947. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lillon Odom Pearce, and father, Walter Edwin Pirkle, as well as a brother, Glenn Pirkle and brother-in-law, Marion Payne.
He was a graduate of Turner County High School, Class of 1965 and was a retired licensed electrician. A born-again Christian, he was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his sisters: Requelen Payne of Yulee, FL, Elaine Arnold (Farris) Medders of Alma, Dianne Connell of Buford and Carol (Doug) Goin of Merritt Island, FL; and brothers, Paul (Susan) Pirkle of Buford and Earl (Sherry) Pirkle of Flowery Branch.
Funeral services will be held graveside at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Bethel Cemetery in Sycamore.
