Jerry Richard Nutt, 64, of Rebecca, Georgia passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Crisp Regional Medical Center in Cordele, GA.
Jerry was born on January 19, 1957 in Ashburn, Georgia to the late Robert Lee, Sr. and Sallie Monteen Pate. He was self-employed as a heavy equipment operator for Miller Brothers. Jerry was a member of the baptist faith. He enjoyed working and staying busy.
He is survived by his children, Lori Shirah, Joshua Nutt, and Brandy Nutt; brothers, Billy Nutt and Gary Nutt; sisters, Floralee Moore, Mary Jane Beasley, and Patricia Vaughn; grandchildren Courtney Shirah Calhoun (Daniel), Casey Shirah, and Katelyn Shirah; great grandchildren, Ella Claire Calhoun.
In addition to his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by siblings Imogene Nutt, J.R. Nutt, and Robert Nutt, Jr.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
