Barbara Anne "Bobbie" Pate, 84, of Ashburn passed away Thursday, September 30, 2021 at her son's home surrounded by family.
Barbara Anne, affectionately known as "Bobbie", was born on October 27, 1936 in Cordele to the late Emmett. Jr. and Verlee Gleaton Jones. She was a homemaker and a member of Ashburn First Baptist Church. Bobbie was always happiest when she could be out in her yard. She loved her family but especially her grandchildren and granddogs.
She is survived by her daughter, Melanie (James) Gilmore of Chula; son, Hank (Melissa) Pate of Ashburn; brother, Billy (Mary) Jones of Leesburg; grandchildren, Kelcie (Jacob) Mapel of Marietta, Reagan Pate of Tifton, Kyndal Pate of Tifton, Kayla Register of Ashburn, Kyle Register of Ashburn and Adam (Lilly) Register of Jacksonville, Florida; great-grandchild, Nora June Register of Jacksonville, Florida; and special nieces, Sandy Pate of Ashburn and Tina Pate of Ashburn.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, H. B. "Buddy" Pate; siblings, Emmett Jones, Jr., Florence Wiles, Carolyn Kennedy, Jacqueline Hancock, Frances Whitfield and Buford Jones.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Warwick Methodist Church Cemetery, 199 Magnolia St. SE, Warwick, Georgia 31796. The family will greet friends immediately following the service.
