A memorial service for Patricia J. Adkison will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Perry Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Adkison passed away last year. The family was unable to have a public service then because of the COVID-19 pandemic. They invite all family and friends to come join them in a public celebration of Mrs. Adkison's life Saturday.
Patricia J. Adkison, 81, of Rebecca passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at The Medical Center Navicent Health in Macon.
Patricia was born on October 22, 1938 in Miami, Florida to the late John Henry and Mattie Lee Richey Wilson. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Rebecca. She was also a retired bookkeeper and peanut inspector.
She is survived by her son, Marion (Celi) Adkison of Rebecca; sister, Wanda (Dick) Bruce of Lake City, Florida and Joyce Cravey of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Misty (Jacob) Brooks, Mindy (David) Layfield, Amanda (Marcus) Allen, Lacey (Josh) Harris and Deidra (Johnny Brady) Hall. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Lester Adkison, Sr., a daughter, Bobby Jean Adkison and a son Allen Arthur Adkison.
