Nancy Raines Hall, 79, of Knoxville, TN, formally of Ashburn, GA, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021, following a brief illness. Graveside services will be on Monday, January 25, 2021 in The Rose Hill Cemetery at 2:30 PM. For those who would like to pay their respects, you may do so from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Monday.
The daughter of the late Dr. David B. and Lillian Bateman Raines, she was born in Albany, GA. She was retired as a Registered Nurse with St. Mary’s Hospital. Nancy was of The Baptist Faith. She was a member of the 1959 Turner County High School graduating class.
Survivors include her children, Lori Fountain (Bill) Gardner of Thomaston, GA, John E. Fountain, Jr. of Orlando, FL, Jim F. (Nikki) Hall of Knoxville, TN and Mitch (Lalucha) Hall of Daytona Beach, FL.; her siblings, John B. (Pam) Raines of Taylorsville, GA and Carole Raines Spooner of Greenville, SC.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Sarah Carlton, Seth Gardner, Madison Fountain, Cole Fountain, Morgan Fountain, Maverick Hall, Annabella Hall, Maisie Hall, Hannah Hall and Evan Hall. Her great grandchildren, Norah Carlton, Nolan Carlton and Wesley Carlton.
