Mrs. Doris L. Yarbrough, 94, of Tifton, GA earned her wings, Wednesday, September 23, 2020 in Tifton following an extended illness. Memorial services will be held later at a time and place to be announced.
The daughter of the late Herman G. and Eunice Cloud Padgett, she was born in Ashburn and was a member of the Baptist Faith. She was the widow of the late Harold K. Yarbrough and was a retired seamstress with Brunswick Manufacturing Co. She was a very talented seamstress and could sew anything from a wedding dresses, suits and curtains from her home.
In addition to her parents, her husband and her son, H. Gregory Yarbrough, she was also preceded in death by five siblings.
Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Starke of Ocilla, GA, her grandchildren, Erin Starke of Ocilla, Bo Starke of Augusta, Eric Yarbrough and Amanda Yarbrough both of Brunswick. Also surviving are five Great Grandsons and one Great-Great granddaughter.
