Faye Swain Glover, 78, of Tifton passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020 at her residence.

Faye was born on October 25, 1941 in Turner County to the late Jesse Floyd and Mattie Lillie Stubbs Swain. She retired from the Orange County, Florida School District where she was a Logistics Technician. She was also a member of Zion Hope Missionary Baptist Church. She loved to be in her garden and loved her family but most of all, she loved her Lord.

Faye is survived by her daughters, Gwendolyn Marie Hill of Tifton and Angela Faye Glover of New Port, North Carolina; sister, Anette Hobbs of Tifton; grandchildren, Sherri Speer, DeWayne Maddox, Danisha Dewberry, Nicole Fox and Barbara Horn; great-grandchildren, Alex, Chance, Michael, Zachary, Cameron, Julie, Ethan, Kyler, Kashden, Micheal, Racheal, Nathan, Shawn Jr., Draco, Dylan, Ryan, Xander and Braiden.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Lee Glover Horn, brothers, Cecil Floyd Swain, Gerald Wilson Swain and Richard Clifton Swain. She was also preceded in death by a very special friend, Diana Rae Dove.

DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER, THE GLOVER FAMILY HAS POSTPONED MS. FAYE'S SERVICE. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 2020 AT PLEASANT HILL CEMETERY IN REBECCA. Social distancing will be strictly enforced. Due to the likelihood of family and guests being unable to maintain proper social distancing, for those that will be standing under the tent, masks will be required . For those who wish to pay their respects and sign the family's guest register, Ms. Faye will lie in state Monday, September 14, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Perry Funeral Chapel.
