Funeral services for Mrs. Frances S. Ellerbee, 97, of Musella, GA will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Perry Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Ellerbee gained her wings, Thursday at her residence following an extended illness. Interment will be private in Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn.
The daughter of the late Roscoe L. and Gertrude Cribb Shealy, she was born in Columbia, SC and was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. Before moving to Musella, she was a faithful member of Morningside Methodist Church in Albany, GA.
She was the widow of the late Harold A. Ellerbee, Sr. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Faye S. Tison and Georgia S. Stephens.
Mrs. Ellerbee is survived by her children, Carol (Al) Barnett of Columbia, SC; Harold (Denise) Ellerbee, Jr. of Newnan, GA and Craig (Charla) Ellerbee of Musella, GA. She is also survived by six grandchildren and twelve grandchildren and a special close family friend, Mrs. Jessie Youngblood of Ashburn.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the hour of services at Perry Funeral Chapel.
