Verna Louise Farmer Cameron, 95, of Sycamore passed away Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Tift Regional Medical Center.
Verna was born on June 8, 1924 in Turner County to the late John Cleveland and Viola Gray Farmer. She was a member of Living Waters Fellowship and retired from Jaco Pants Factory.
She is survived by her daughter, Christine (Carl) Mauldin of Ashburn; grandchildren, Jaimie Dill of Sycamore, Stephanie Mauldin of Ashburn and Kevin Mauldin of Ashburn; great-grandchildren, Darcus Dill, Dawton Dill, Dakohta Dill.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Dominey Cameron and her siblings, Lonnie Farmer, Jack Farmer, Spurley Farmer, Bennie Farmer, Pearl Cranford and Lemma Ward.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, January 12, 2020 at Perry Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00 PM until the hour of services Sunday at the funeral home.
