Walter Henry Blanks III passed away on December 28th, his birthday, in Tifton, GA. He was 79. Born in 1940 in Brunswick, GA, Mr Blanks was the son of Harriett Cawley Dunlap and Walter Blanks Jr. He served in the US Navy and later was an art teacher at Fort Benning in Columbus, GA. He is survived by his wife Rosi Blanks, his son David Blanks, his son Marcus Czapla, his daughter Melanie Stockdale, and his daughter Laurin Blanks.
