Remer Lamar Futch, 85, of Sycamore passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at his residence.
Remer was born on April 27, 1934 in Adel to the late Irvin and Mattie Salvey Futch. He served his country with honor and retired from the United States Air Force. Remer loved woodworking and making model airplanes. He also enjoyed cooking. He was a member of Dakota Baptist Church in Turner County.
He is survived by his wife, Tina Futch of Sycamore; daughter, Sheryl Futch of Jacksonville, Florida; sons, Mitchell (Yoshinna) Parrish of Knoxville, Tennessee and David Parrish of Knoxville, Tennessee; step-sons, Brian Bunn of Minnesota, Jason Harris of Ashburn and Jamie Harris of Sycamore; brother, Elbert Futch of Valdosta; grandchildren, Kalann, Ryan, Collin, Shannan and Kelley.
Funeral services will be held graveside, 3:00 PM Friday, August 30, 2019 at Rose Hill Cemetery with full military honors.
