Kathleen E. Selph, 78, of Ashburn passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Golden South Assisted Living in Sycamore.
Kathleen was born in Bristol, Pennsylvania on October 31, 1940 to the late Earl and Catherine Bennet. She was the librarian at the Victoria Evans Library in Ashburn and worked at the Turner County Hospital as well. Kathleen enjoyed working but most of her life was dedicated to being a mother. She also enjoyed bird watching and was an avid reader.
She is survived by her sons, Chris (Shelley) Selph of Woodstock and Stacy (Elizabeth) Selph of Ashburn; sisters, Mary Lou (Holmes) Raker of Minnesota and Barbara Thompson of Mashfield, Massachusetts; grandchildren, Taylor, Rachel, Caroline and Luke.
A private memorial service for Kathleen will be held at a later date.
