Funeral services for Eugene Tucker, 81, of Sycamore, GA will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn. Mr. Tucker passed away Monday following an extended illness. Interment will be private.
The son of the late John Matthew and Elizabeth Barwick Tucker, he was born in Irwinville, GA and was a retired carpenter. He was a long time resident of Turner County and was an avid fisherman.
Survivors include his children, Marie (Norman) Apperson, of Sycamore; Tammy (Raymond) Haney of Arabi; Lizzie Ina Michelle (Terry “Paco”) Manders, of Cordele; Chasity Rebecca (Nicholas) James of Elko; Ellis Eugene Tucker Gravitt of Ashburn; Randall Matthew Tucker of Raleigh, NC; Michael Cheynne (Frankie) McPhail of Arabi; and John Kent (Tashila) Tucker of Arabi. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 1:00 PM until the hour of services at Perry Funeral Chapel.
