Cecil Lee Nolan, 71, of Jacksonville, North Carolina died Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Harris Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Jacksonville, North Carolina with Rev. Drew Parker and Rev. Harold Swinson officiating. Interment will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, February 1, 2019 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn.
Mr. Nolan was a veteran of the Vietnam War and retired honorably as a Gunnery Sergeant from the United States Marine Corps in 1990. He was also a Master Marine Engine Technician for over 45 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Nolan.
Survivors include his son, Cecil E. Nolan of Jacksonville, North Carolina; sister, Mary Ann Nolan of Ashburn, GA.
The family will receive friends Wednesday one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the church.
