David Allen Pitts, 76, of Sycamore passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at his residence.
Allen was born on July 31, 1942 in Tift County to the late David Glen Pitts and Jane North Herndon. He was the owner and operator of Pitts Lawn and Engine and a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Diane McGuire Pitts of Sycamore; sons, James Allen Pitts of Sycamore and Glen "Elmo" (Michelle) Pitts of Sycamore; sister, Rosalyn (Glynn) Odom of Ft. Payne, Alabama; grandchildren, Jenna Michelle Pitts, Dusti Marie Pitts and Colton Allen Pitts.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Glenda Pitts Odom.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Perry Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at the Bethel Cemetery Annex. The family will greet friends from 9:30 AM until 10:45 AM Saturday.
