Calvin G. Brown, 88, of Sycamore passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at the Willson Hospice House in Albany.
Calvin was born on July 17, 1930 in Turner County to the late Edgar and Annie Athlene Zorn Brown. He was a retired self-employed businessman. Calvin was a faithful member of the Sycamore Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Georgia Farm Bureau.
He is survived by his wife, Christine Watson Brown of Sycamore; daughter, Darlene (Danny) Connell of Lexington, South Carolina; sons, Chris (Debbie) Brown of Sycamore and Farrell Brown of Sycamore; sister, Joyce (Duane) Campbell of Sycamore. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the Sycamore Methodist Church with burial to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Sycamore. The family will greet friends Friday, September 14, 2018 from 5 PM - 7 PM at the funeral home.
